Tare, by Charith Perera. Deleting your account removes it and everything in it, immediately and permanently.
The fastest way, and the one to use if you still have Tare installed.
The account is gone when the app returns you to the sign-in screen. There is no waiting period and nothing is recoverable afterwards.
If you have already removed Tare from your phone, email privacy@charithp.com from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted.
You will get a reply confirming it is done, normally within a few days. Nothing else is needed — no form, no account number.
Your account, your diary and every entry in it, your weight history, your goals and meal slots, any private food or recipe you saved, your sign-in sessions on every device, and the records of any AI requests you made.
Your subscription keeps billing. Deleting your Tare account does not cancel a subscription, because Apple and Google own that relationship and nothing on our side can reach it. Cancel it yourself in the App Store or Google Play before you delete.
Foods you published stay in the shared catalogue. They lose your name and any link to you, but the entries themselves remain, because other people's diaries refer to them. Foods you kept private are deleted with everything else.
